Men Educating Men About Health (MEMAH) and Pasadena City College (PCC) will hold its 6th annual “Get Healthy Pasadena” 2016 health conference, offering free health screenings for men and women over 18, on Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Pasadena City College.
The screenings will including prostate, diabetes, cholesterol, stroke, blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), vision, hearing, dental, and much more. Those who receive at least six screenings will be provided a free lunch from some of the best restaurants in Pasadena.
Over the past five years, Get Healthy has screened over 8,000 people, many uninsured or underinsured. The event will also feature talks by health professionals on some of the most prevalent health issues of our time. Those who attend at least one seminar will receive one additional lunch ticket. There will also be live music, body massages, health and lifestyle products, exhibits by local organizations, and much more.
